Jake Fitzpatrick teaches SRE at Asquith Girls High School and Asquith Boys High School. Jake has been heavily involved in teaching the bible to teenagers over the last four years, as both an MTS trainee and Youth Pastor. He has taught primary SRE for three years, and is very thankful for the opportunity to teach the bible to teenagers in a high school context. Jake is currently entering into his last semester at Youth Works College, where he will be completing an Advanced Diploma of Ministry.
Rachel Li teaches SRE at Asquith Girls High School. Christian Special Religious Education (SRE) encourages students to question, explore and discover the basics of the Christian faith based on the Bible. SRE Teachers are trained and equipped to teach classes and run seminars for students whose parents or caregivers are happy for them to be involved. ourSRE seeks to give every student the opportunity to understand the life and teachings of Jesus Christ - the single most influential person in history as they develop their own commitments and worldview for life.
SRE boards play a vital role in managing people, resources, communication and other key SRE functions.
